Wanda Phipps

Wanda Phipps, a poet journalist, dramaturg, and translator, was born in Washington, DC. She was educated at Barnard College, American Conservatory Theatre, and Naropa Institute. Her poems and translations have appeared in over thirty journals, and her work with Virlana Tkacz has been collected in the volume Ten Years of Poetry From the Yara Theatre Workshops at Harvard. She is a founding member and dramaturg of Yara Arts Group.
