Jo Ann Pantanizopoulos

Jo Ann Pantanizopoulos is a former English teacher and currently Education Resources Center Coordinator at Pellissippi State Technical Community College in Knoxville, Tennessee. In the Florida English Journal, Ms. Pantanizopoulos published an article (Fall 1990) proposing the teaching of poetry translation for the high school English student. She writes a monthly column, "Web Sites for Writers" in Knoxville Writers' Guild newsletter.

Ms. Pantanizopoulos holds a B.S. degree in English Education from the University of Missouri-Columbia and an M.S. degree in English Education from the University of Tennessee-Knoxville. She has lived and traveled extensively in Greece and is married to a Greek god, Yanni.
