Susan Ouriou

Susan Ouriou is a translator and interpreter of Spanish and French as well as a fiction writer. Her first translation from Spanish, a novel by José Luis Olaizola entitledThe Thirteenth Summer, (1993), was runner-up for Canada’s John Glassco Translation Prize. Her translation of the French novel by Michèle Marineau, The Road to Chlifa (1995), was short-listed for the 1995 Governor-General’s Award for Translation.
