Paulo da Costa's poetry and ction has been published in literary magazines in Canada, the United States, and around the world, along with his translations of Portuguese, Mexican, Brazilian, and Canadian poets. A General Editor with Filling Station, a Canadian literary magazine, he is the recipient of an Alberta Foundation for the Arts Grant (1998) and a Canada Council Grant (1999). He is currently working on the manuscript, "The Scent of a Lie".
