Art Beck is a San Francisco poet who has published two volumes of translations: Simply to See, selected poems of Luxorius (Poltroon, 1990), and Rilke (Elysian Press, 1983). Magazine credits include Invisible City, Painted Bride Quarterly, Translation Review, and many others. His work has also appeared in a number of anthologies, most recently in a collection of "Letters to Fathers" (Storyline Press, 2001).
