Sri Susilowati (Dancer) was born and raised in Bandung, West Java, Indonesia. She studied Sundanese, Balinese, and Javanese dance at the Indonesian Institute of Arts in Yogyakarta, Indonesia, earning a Master of Arts in Dance Composition. In 1994, she established the Susilowati Dance Company in the United States. She has performed her original choreography with the Ethnic Dance Festival in San Francisco and throughout the United States.
